There’s a lot to be said for trust.
Massachusetts voters deserve to know that without any doubt whatsoever that their ballot will be cast, counted, and not cancelled out.
In Massachusetts, you are asked to present an ID to open a bank account, get on an airplane, get married, or apply for Medicaid or Social Security, but not when you choose who runs our government. To me, it just makes sense to have voters present an ID when they vote and this is why I’ve joined the initiative to get a Voter ID question on the ballot in 2022.
There is a grass-roots effort to turn this simple proposed reform into law; a number of volunteers across the state, including yours truly, have already begun the process of collecting signatures. Please reach out to me if you'd like to get involved!
